The one thing I wish every mom knew about teaching her children

Happy Thursday, Reader!

A few years ago, I sat at my kitchen table surrounded by papers, crayons, and a child who was asking me questions faster than I could answer them.

I remember looking at the stack of things I thought I needed to do as a mom and feeling overwhelmed.

Was I doing enough?

Was I teaching the right things?

Was I missing something important?

Maybe you’ve had a moment like that too.

The truth is, motherhood comes with a lot of pressure.

We want to give our children every opportunity, but sometimes finding the right resources feels like one more thing added to an already full plate.

And can I remind you of something?

You don’t have to create everything from scratch.

You don’t have to spend hours searching Pinterest, piecing together activities, or wonder if what you’re doing is “enough.”

Sometimes the greatest gift we can give ourselves as moms is a little support.

A curriculum isn’t about replacing the magic you already bring into your home.

It’s about giving you a roadmap, saving you time, and helping you create meaningful moments with your children.

Whether you’re teaching letters, numbers, life skills, or helping your little ones build confidence and curiosity, having the right resources can make those everyday moments feel a little easier.

Because at the end of the day, our children don’t need a perfect teacher.

They just need you to meet them where you're at with a willing heart to try.

And sometimes, showing up looks like finding the tools that help us do that with more peace and joy.

If you’re looking for early education resources to support your little learners, I’d love for you to grab what you need here:

Happy Thursday, Reader! The other day, one of my kids said something that made us all laugh. It was one of those little comments that probably would've disappeared into the busyness of life, except we all stopped long enough to enjoy it. And it made me wonder how many beautiful little moments we've already forgotten this summer. Not the big vacations. Not the expensive outings. The tiny memories. Sticky popsicle fingers. Late-night walks to catch lightning bugs. The bedtime conversations that...

Happy Thursday, Reader! A few nights ago, I looked at the calendar on my desk and realized something that made my heart sink just a little. I'd be turning to the next month in a few days because summer is slipping away. And it's not because we didn't do enough. We had popsicles that melted faster than little hands could eat them. We stayed up too late watching outdoor plays. We made memories I know my children won't remember perfectly, but they'll remember how they felt. Still, there's that...

Happy Thursday, Reader! A few days ago, I looked at my weather app and laughed. Not because anything was funny. Because the weather app cheerfully informed me it was "perfectly sunny"... while it felt hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk. My youngest looked at me and asked if he could play outside. Five minutes later we were back inside. Red cheeks. Sweaty hair. And suddenly the house felt about three sizes smaller. If you're in that season too, I see you. The endless chorus of "I'm...
