My secret cleaning trick

Happy Sunday, Reader!

I realized something about cleaning…

It wasn’t the actual cleaning that felt overwhelming.

It was the never-ending feeling of it.

The dishes would be done… until the next meal.

The laundry would be folded… until someone needed their favorite shirt.

The counters would be wiped down… until five little hands came through again.

And somewhere along the way, cleaning started to feel less like caring for my home and more like a reminder of everything I hadn’t finished yet.

You too?

That’s when I started looking for a simpler way.

Not a complicated system.

Not a schedule that made me feel like I was failing.

Just something that helped me focus on one small task at a time.

Because there is something surprisingly satisfying about checking off a box.

✨ Stove top cleaned.
✨ Blankets folded.
✨ Bathroom refreshed.
✨ One more little corner cared for.

Those small wins add up.

A clean home doesn’t have to mean hours spent scrubbing or chasing perfection.

Sometimes it’s just about having a gentle guide that helps you know where to start and gives you that little boost of “I did it.”

That’s why we created our Cleaning Checklist Cards.

They're beautiful, simple cards designed to make cleaning feel more manageable and even a little rewarding.

Whether you’re tackling the kitchen, living room, bathroom, or bedroom, you can simply follow the list, check things off, and enjoy the peace that comes from making progress.

Because your home doesn’t need to be perfect.

It just needs to be loved.

You can find the Cleaning Checklist Cards here:

Micah

Happy Sunday, Reader! There are seasons of motherhood when our days feel like they disappear before we even have a chance to catch our breath. The laundry piles up. The dishes multiply. The questions from little voices never seem to end. And somewhere between making lunches, answering emails, breaking up sibling arguments, and trying to keep everyone else’s needs met, we sometimes forget that our own souls need tending, too. I remember moments when I wanted to spend more time in the...

Happy Sunday, Reader! There are moments as a mom when you realize the little things you do today are shaping your children’s hearts for years to come. Sometimes we put so much pressure on ourselves to have the “perfect” family prayer, the perfect scripture study, or the perfect spiritual lesson that we forget something important… Our kids don’t need perfect. They need consistency in our example. They need to feel that prayer is more than just words we say because it’s part of our routine....

Happy Sunday, Reader! There’s something magical about this time of year. The cooler mornings that'll be coming. The golden leaves soon falling from the trees. The little hands gathering acorns, jumping in piles of leaves, and noticing all the tiny details that make fall feel special. And if you have a little one at home, you know they are constantly learning—even when they don’t realize it. They’re counting the pumpkins on the porch. Sorting leaves by color. Comparing who has more apple...
