I realized something about cleaning…

It wasn’t the actual cleaning that felt overwhelming.

It was the never-ending feeling of it.

The dishes would be done… until the next meal.

The laundry would be folded… until someone needed their favorite shirt.

The counters would be wiped down… until five little hands came through again.
